Chemical Spraying Course

Course Information

This course is designed to qualify students with the two units required by the Qld Government to obtain a Commercial Operator’s Licence (commonly referred to as an ACDC Licence or Chemical Spraying Licence).

Aim

During the duration of this course, students will acquire the variety of skills necessary to safely use chemicals.

Learning outcomes

At the end of this course, you will have gained the skills and knowledge of:

• hazard and risk management
• proper storage of chemicals
• safe transport of chemicals
• integration of chemical usage into the workplace
• chemical spraying and spray plans

Upon completion, students obtain a Statement of Attainment that can be provided to the Qld Government together with the required application form and fee to apply for the Commercial Operator’s Licence.

Note, the workshop will be run at one of our training yards at Strathpine or Logan however other arrangements may be made if required. The online theory work is required to be completed prior to attending the practical workshop.
